Parcel

I received a parcel from my secret pal (Hemlis 4) today. Nice Norweigan wool, stickers for scrapbooking, dark coffee, a bar of dark chocolate and a pretty card I think she created!

Ups and downs

I had a down day yesterday with aches and fatigue, but when hubby came home with the pretty rose I immediately felt better. It looks nice by the sage and my little hedgie :-)The shawl is growing, slowly but surely. Froggy looks like I did yesterday :-/

New bargains

Visited my mother today and I just couldn't resist to visit Stickbutiken (LYS). Lucky for me there were a couple of skeins left at a real bargain price. You can check out Vienna and Vivaldi on the website of Garnstudio.

I watched Rachael Ray on morning TV and I got inspired. The Tiger prawns doesn't look particularly apitizing before cooking, but boy were they good afterwards. Yummy! Unfortunately food is one of the hardest things to take pictures of, to make it look as apetizing as it actually is - that's not easy. I tried, but it looked like a technicolour yawn on the plate so I deleted it. Anyway, junior and I loved it.

I'm studdering because it's so darned cold. Thermometre says 6 degrees and it's raining. I should have worn mittens on my walk. I'll have to get me a cup of tea to warm my hands on ...

Look what I found at my local grocer's store today. The aroma is so nice together with the fresh Thyme and Basil and it will make the food to be done later taste fantastic.

Relaxation before dinner is necessary. The favorite mug filled with good white tea, a couple of ginger cookies bought at The English Shop in Stockholm and then time for some knitting.
